Professors
"A failed class represents a failed teacher."
We all know that not all professors are doing their job to educate their students properly.
Merong mga prof na "Oh, sige. Basahin nyo mula page ganito to ganyan tapos quiz next meeting." Walang turo-turo yan. Yan yung mga laging absent or late o sadyang tamad na professors. Wow! Edi sana nag enroll nalang kami ng home study or did not enroll ourselves in a University at all kung mag sasariling sikap lang din naman kami para matuto. Hi-nire ka ng University para mag turo hindi para mag chill at mag utos. Alam naming we are college students, we are old enough and you don't need to spoon-feed us pero may mga bagay na kailangang idini-discuss niyo na hindi namin maiintindihan through reading lang.
May mga prof na basta turo dire-diretso ratatatata sa board syempre hindi naman lahat ng students mabilis ang analyzation. Meron talagang mga slow or hindi talaga naintindihan yung way ng pagkakaturo. Tapos mag tatanong yung student, yung prof naman ipapahiya pa. "How many times do I need to explain this for you to be able to absorb the lesson? Huh?" O kaya may gestures na di kanais nais porket may nag tatanong o may nag papaulit. Kaya yung iba natatakot nalang magtanong. Sir, Ma'am, your job is to help your students to understand your subject hindi yung basta masabi lang na itinuro mo, dapat alam mong naabsorb ng bawat isa. Saludo ako sa mga prof na "Oh raise your hand if you have question so I can clarify or I can discuss it again."
Merong mga prof na may favoritism. Yun lang madalas ang tinatawag. Yun lang ang binibigyan ng chance. Pag bigayan ng grades yun lang din ang pumasa. Where the hell is the equality?
Merong mga prof na insecure. They never let their students to beat their knowledge. Ayaw ng nalalamangan kaya lalong pahihirapan. Nang te-terrorize. Naninigaw. Namamahiya. You don't deserve to be a professor ma'am/sir you might be intelligent for having that position pero hindi ka para sa pagtuturo.
Lastly, failing students. We understand if those are irresponsible students like those who are always late or absent in the class. Pero yung mga students na alam mong ginagawa naman ang lahat sa malinis na way para pumasa ay yun pa ang ibinabagsak kesa dun sa pala absent at mga nangongopya. Siguro hindi sapat yung knowledge ng student in short bobo (sorry for the term) kaya kahit nag aaral fail parin but if you are really a good teacher you won't let that to happen. Kung alam mong nahihirapan yung student mo sana mas lalo mong binibigyan ng pansin to teach them well from the word itself "TEACHer," You have to help them and it's your job to get rid of their ignorance.
Now, you will fail those students kasi hindi pumasa sa standards mo. Sana tinanong mo muna ang sarili mo kung bakit nagkaganon ang estudyante o mga estudyante mo. Totoo nga yung "School is not about education anymore. It's all about passing the semester."
These are all based from my experience and it's really unfair.
