GROWING UP SERIES (LIAM) :Part 8: First Plane Ride/Tour

Liam's POV
It had been about two month since the interview. We were getting ready to board the plane, so we could go on our 6 month tour. Of course (y/n) was coming with us. She had never been on a plane or far from home, so this had me worried deeply. Niall kept telling me that it would be alright and that she would be okay, I just couldn't help but be worried. We got to the airport and went through security. (y/n) kept glancing at me looking nervous. I kept assuring her she would be just fine. We had to wait a little while before we could board the plane, so I bought her a snack and we played a game on my phone. When we finally were able to board, she saw how big it was and held out her arms. I picked her up and she whispered "We go on that?" I nodded. "It's not that bad baby, it's like a really big car" I explained gently, getting nervous. She nodded, "It sounds like fun! Can I wave to people in the other ones?" " No baby, it goes in the sky so it's only us" She nodded. We boarded and sat down in our seats. I buckled her in and gave her her toys. I buckled myself in and waiting for the moment we took it off. It was 10 minutes before they finally told we were about to take off. I looked nervous at her but she was just laughing and having fun. We started to take off when she started to freak. "I don't like this" She whispered. "It's okay, it's almost over" The plane got higher and higher and she started tearing up.I wiped her eyes and she held her hands out. "I can't right now baby, you have to stay buckled in" I felt so guilty telling her no. I took ahold of her hand and she smiled. As soon as they said we could move, I unbuckled both of us and placed her in my lap. I quietly hummed to her rocking her, in hopes that she would go to sleep for most of the plane ride. We slept most of the plane ride. When we arrived, there were fans everywhere. I held her close to me and we made our way to the awaiting cars. "Li?" "Yes baby?" I asked rubbing her hair back. "Always like this?" I nodded "Sorry sweetheart, but we'll make sure they don't get near you or touch you. You always stay with us kapeesh?" She smiled and nodded. We arrived at the hotel a little
later and she was out. Her first experience with jet-lag. She would get used to it though. I put all of stuff in the room and laid down beside her, jet-lag hitting me too...it was going to be a long but amazing tour..and I am sure glad I have my partner in crime with me....
