"you alright, ____?" j.j. asked you as you shook your head, turning around to face her from the bathroom mirror.

"i always thought this jacket looked good but now i think i want a darker color. or maybe i actually want a lighter color. or what about a different cut? would that be-" you wanted as she stopped you.

"hey, what's with the overthinking?"

you messed around with your ring as you looked back into the mirror. you felt your heart rate speeding up.

"my mom is coming in town and she always makes me overthink everything in my life, i mean, everything, j.j.," you told her as she put a hand on your shoulder.

"what about reid?"

you furrowed your brows. "what about him?"

"do you overthink about reid?" she asked as you shook your head almost instantly. she gave you a soft smile. "then there is nothing to worry about, _____."
