Mitch is your typical college student in a certain university. Usual na araw lang just like any other days pero one time habang nakatambay sa campus, may nakita siyang isang babae na kumbaga na love at first sight siya. At hindi, hindi multo yung babaeng yun.

Pangalan nalang nating Shiela yung babaeng natipuhan ni Mitch. So naglakas loob siya iapproach and to cut the story short, after pursuing her for months, naging sila. After graduation, they had this crazy idea to get married right away and they did! Not long after, may baby na agad sila. Both sila nag ttrabaho then pinapaalaga muna nila yung baby nila until umabot sa point na medyo malaki na yung kinikita ni Mitch to support that family and convince Shiela na mag stay home and become a full time mom para sa anak nila. Everything is going so well and nagdecide pa sila na sundan yung panganay nila.

Now with 2 kids, Mitch love his family so much and wala siyang nakikitang ibang way to be more happier. Work and bahay lang si Mitch and one Saturday, nagpapahinga lang siya sa sala nila at napansin niyang blurred yung isa sa mga desk lamp. Over the course of years never naman lumabo mata ni Mitch and hindi din siya nag susuot ng salamin so nagtataka siya bakit ganun. He even asked his wife about dun sa lamp at sabi ni Shiela mukhang normal naman.

For the next coming weeks, that desk lamp becomes more blurred for each passing day. He kept asking his wife and yung panganay niya about it pero normal naman dun sa dalawa. Sobrang invested si Mitch sa lamp na yun to the point na nag leave pa siya sa work para ifigure out bakit ganun yung lamp na yun. Nag karoon na din sila ng argument ng asawa niya dahil dun kasi ayaw niyang tigilan.

Of course, Shiela and their eldest became very worried for their father. Baby pa yung bunso nila so naalarm na din si Shiela kasi instead na tulungan siya ni Mitch mag alaga, nakatulala lang siya dun sa desk lamp na yun mag damag. Until one night nagulas si Mitch na lumalaki na bigla yung desk lamp. Sinubukan niyang tawagin si Shiela whila still fixated sa lamp pero lumaki na ito exponentially na sinakop na nito yung buong sala nila pushing Mitch against the wall then big bright flash.

All darkness and nafeel ni Mitch na ang daming nag sasalita sa paligid pero hindi niya maintindihan. Pag dilat niya sobrang liwanag at ang daming tanong nakapalibot sakaniya. It took him a few seconds to process kung ano nangyayare until narealize niya na napapalibutan siya ng mga students. Nasa campus siya, kung saan sila nag aral ni Shiela. Maya maya may lumapit na pulis at tinulungan siyang itayo, apparently nakabulagta lang siya sa gitna ng campus, the police brought him for questioning about the assault.

Hindi maintindihan ni Mitch yung nangyayare and immediately, tanong niya sa pulis eh kung nasaan yung pamilya niya. Nasan ang asawa at mga anak niya. The police gave a confused look and replied na wala siyang idea sa family niya, all he know is he was dispatched dahil may assault na nangyare sa school nila. At siya yung victim.

This is when it hit Mitch na almost 10 years of his life did not exist. His family, does not exist. It turns out he was hit on the head by a football player sa campus nila and his head hit the ground upon impact. It was believed that during the time na unconscious siya, nag hallucinate siya creating a new reality in his mind that lasted several years. The emotional damage was so painful realizing that the family you loved so much does not exist and he even need to undergo therapy to grieve for this family na hindi totoo

Based on latest accounts, hindi na daw masyado naalala ni Mitch yung exact na itsura ni Shiela at nung panganay nila pero yung youngest sometimes appear in his dreams trying to communicate pero hindi niya naaintindihan yung sinasabi.

I had to share it since medyo related siya mga gusto ko ikuwento and I even had an experience of living in a dream for almost 6 months believing that it is reality. Now the real question is how sure are you about this reality? Or isa lang din ito sa hallucinations mo habang nag aagaw buhay yung totoo mong katawan somewhere?
