RAVEN'S POV

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Annoyed I yanked the window opened and flung the damm thing outside, still groggy I got up since Yang was coming to visit today. Unfortunately, I had a dream of Y/N again and it just...made the morning harder...

FLASHBACK STARTS

I met Y/N back at Beacon when he came to visit his sister and take the test to directly get a Huntsmen License which he completed!

We quickly became best friends, despite how annoyed I often was with Summer and her childish nature her brother was a complete joy to be around! and I couldn't help myself but fall for him, we ended up confessing to each other at the same time.

Not too long after we started dating Y/N proposed to me when we were out on a picnic date...

Y/N: You have literally been my light brightening my life ever since we met, I want to walk alongside you for all eternity, Raven Branwen...will you marry me?" He asked on his knee.

Raven: "Yes! Of course!, as if I'll ever let you leave my side" I cried happily hugging him. It was an amazing evening despite the fact that in the end, it turned from romantic to lewd...

Farmer: Miranda I keep hearing screaming from the forest!

"YES YES, HARDER Y/N HARDER AHHHHHHHH!~"

It wasn't long after that I found out I was pregnant with a girl, once Y/N found out he was ecstatic.

Y/N: "We are going to be amazing parents! we have this in the bag!" He shouted while jumping all giddy.

Raven: "laughs Honey calm down!" I said trying to stifle my laughter at seeing him excitedly hopping about.

Y/N: "Sorry! just so excited" He responded hugging me before peppering my face with kisses.

I still remember the last time I saw him, how concerned he looked telling me about an important mission he was going on with Summer. At the time I just thought he was concerned because the mission was an important one, but looking back I can see that he basically was telling me and Yang goodbye knowing he most likely wasn't going to come back.

I didn't hear from him for two months...until Qrow came home and told me that he was MIA. For years after I hoped he would one day come through that door, I knew deep down that he is gone. With Summer and Y/N gone both me and Tai were each left as single parents, thankfully Qrow would help here and there while I made money through Huntsmen missions.

As I got done thinking about the past I got out of the shower and went downstairs to make myself a coffee.

QROW'S POV

I had just arrived at the village from which I got the distress signal from and everything was in flames, mangled corpses are strewn about.

The attacking force was reported to be Grimm but as I could see they were being led by two figures overlooking the destruction from the rooftops.

I quickly sprung Harbinger into Scythe form and jumped onto the room preparing to slice these fuckers up.

Qrow: "SO THE GRIMM CUNT HERSELF FINALLY DECIDED TO SHOW HER FACE, ABOUT TIME SALEM!"

Summer: "Not quite.." She said as she turned around glaring at me
