THIRD PERSON POV

People around town here are talking about her and Y/N and she knew, she most certainly knew. It was amusing for her to see them scramble and pretend like they were talking about something else, she often had to fight really hard to keep her laughter in.

With a bemused smile, she just continues on her walk through town, heading back home after she bought some groceries. The sun was slowly going down as she thought over all the things that have happened over the year, her heart swelling with joy.

She's been living with Y/N for several months now and she's completely used to it, no longer was she thinking about Ghira every second of the day. It was such a relief to finally be able to relax both physically and mentally, thankfully Blake didn't kick very often either.

She was just chilling on the couch when she heard the doorbell ring.

Y/N: "I'll get it!" He calls out before Kali could get up.

Curious she decides to try and listen for who it was, she could hear that it was some woman's voice, but she couldn't tell who it was.

Before Y/N could react the person suddenly went inside his place, entering the living room. It was a woman with H/C hair and E/C eyes, she gained a massive shining smile when she spotted Kali, putting her hands over her mouth in shock.

???: "Oh darling why didn't you tell me you found yourself a lady, and she's pregnant as well!?!?!"

Kali got off the couch, and looked at the woman confused, blushing at her words.

April: "I'm April, Y/N's mom, but you can just call me mom." She introduces herself, shaking Kali's hand.

Y/N: "Mom!" He calls out embarrassed.

April: "What? I'm just meeting your beautiful fiance!" She gushes, making Y/N almost faint at her words.

Kali: "I'm Kali, it's a pleasure to meet you." She responds, smiling at the family antics unfolding.

April: "For how long have you two known each other?"

Y/N: "But we're not-"

Kali: "6 months now." She cuts him off.

April: "So long already? my my, you should've told me earlier sweetie." She says to Y/N.

Y/N tries to come up with something to say but just stutters and fumbles.

April: "Could you two kiss? I wanna see it!" She gushes and fangirls.

Both blush, Y/N looking embarrassed, Kali looks at Y/N, confused by her own feelings, she actually wasn't opposed to the idea of kissing him, instead, she actually felt excited.

With one hand she pulls him up to her and kisses him deeply on the lips, his eyes widening in shock while his mom squeals and quickly takes a photo.
