Inside the residence's lounge sat two noblewomen drinking tea. Both of their green gazes immediately focused on the entity wearing a cloak when he entered the room. Fiery locks peeked out from underneath the hood. It really was the first young master of the Henituse Household. Did he need something from them? Exchanging a quick glance with her daughter, the matriarch swiftly stood up and curtsied while she greeted the 18 years old.

"I, Viscountess Popelina Ubarr, greet the One Who Speaks for the Gods, Your Holy Eminence."

<Ha— Not again.>

Motioning for her to stand back up, the deity calmly declared.

"There's no need for such formalities right now, Viscountess Ubarr. I have not come to visit today as a representative of the temples, but as an ally of your household."

Subconsciously, the women relaxed at his words. Taking a step forward, the heiress inquired.

"Are you here regarding the Northeastern nobles meeting?"

A slight nod confirmed her suspicions.

"Father requested I attend it on his behalf."

Instantly, a bright smile formed on the older of the trio's lips.

"Ho? Have you finally decided to return to your position as heir?"

<Return? Of course not! I plan to be a rich slacker! Becoming the Count would ruin that!>

His face remained expressionless while he explained.

"I just happened to plan to arrive in the capital before my family. Besides I have no say in who will inherit Father's position."

"Well, I'm certain Count Deruth is very thankful to have you assisting him again."

<Honestly, he should've chosen Basen to do it. Not only does everyone prefer him, but he should continue to gain experience and connections for when he becomes Count in the future.>

Unfortunately, his statement was misunderstood for modesty which caused the mortals' grins to grow even wider. Without a doubt, there was no way he was trash. It must've been painful for such a humble and considerate individual to have to pretend he was all these years. All just so he could keep his identity a secret from the public. Admiration radiated out of the women.

<Is something wrong with them?>

Placing her hand on her daughter's shoulder, the Viscountess proposed.

"Since you're already here, why don't you accompany Amiru to the meeting in an hour?"

Confused greens peeked at the matriarch who had a mischievous sheen in her eyes. What was her mother planning by having them show up together with the Royal Family's End of Year Celebration only a couple days away? Wouldn't this cause a massive misunderstanding? Her heart skipped a beat when she heard the redhead's reply.

"That was actually the reason I came here."

"Ho!"

Delighted by this news, the older noblewoman nudged her successor forward and beamed.

"Feel free to take your time and enjoy yourselves. Just make sure she's home before midnight."

"M-Mother!"

There was a light blush on the heiress' cheeks.

<Did I miss something?>

Completely unaware of what the two were thinking, the God of Love confirmed.

"Of course."

An even bigger smile formed on the Viscountess' face. Pushing her flustered daughter towards the extremely handsome man in front of them, she instructed with a cheerful voice.
