Hello, mga ka ltap. Share ko lang creepy experience ng asawa ko when he stayed in a famous hotel sa Cebu.

Hubby is an OFW. Umuwi sya last August 2022, approaching post pandemic times pero required pa rin sila mag swab test. So eto na nga, they were swabbed sa airport and were shuttled to the hotel to wait for the results. Bawat isa sa kanila ng mga kasama nya had individual rooms. Di na maremember ng asawa ko what room yung sa kanya apart from that it had the number 7, so baka 107, 706, etc. sorry pero di na po talaga ma recall.

First night, super excited nya kasi minsan lang makapag stay sa magarang hotel. But what he experienced during his sleep was super disturbing. Nag sleep paralysis po sya. He saw a lady in a white long dress na parang lumulutang lang beside him. You know why na creepyhan ako? Kasi my hubby clearly described she had short black hair, shoulder-length, with some strands falling over her featureless face. Kung sinabi pa nya long hair, cliché na nun, di na ako maniniwala. Haha. Di daw sya makagalaw and sobrang takot nya daw. Then, the lady moved. She slowly put her hand inside my husband’s mouth. Going further inch by inch until nag choke na yung asawa ko, di na sya maka hinga. So what he did nlang daw since di sya makagalaw is he bit the hand as hard as he could. Dun na sya nakagalaw and gasped for air.

When we talked via vc, kinuwento nya sakin yung nangyari. I laughed pa nga kasi I asked what the hand tasted like. Ang sagot naman nya, “crispy.” Hahahaha. Pero no joke, he said it was crispy talaga, no taste, just crispy. Or baka the sound of bone cracking yun?

So, no big deal. Baka pagod lang sya, diba? Baka isolated case lang, a rare one kasi di naman siya binabangungot ng madalas. He had maybe only one case prior to that incident.

Kaya lang, bumalik si white lady the second night. Yes, nag sleep paralysis na naman si hubby. Nakita nya yung babae na nakatayo sa hallway pa labas ng room nya. What happened next is still a mystery to us. Nag sleep paralysis daw sya because he knew he couldn’t move his body but at the same time, he can see himself running for the door kasi gusto nya makalabas ng room. Before he could reach the door madadaanan pa nya yung babae. When he did reach the door, bumabalik sya kung san sya nanggaling. Parang time-looped astral projection where in he never got to escape. He just decided to stop going for the door nlang kasi pabalik2 lang sya. Seconds later, he woke up to the feel of somebody’s eyes on him. Dito na sya na creeped out. Kasi bakit two consecutive nights na nagpapakita sa kanya yung babaeng walang mukha?

Third night, wala na yung babae. Pero ito na yung last straw for my husband. Again, nag sleep paralysis sya. He saw himself in the big vanity mirror and he was floating close to the ceiling even though he could feel the bed against his immovable body naman. He was floating, eyes-closed, and hands stretched sideways na parang naka pako sya sa krus. He woke up very scared and immediately prayed for God’s protection.

When he told me about it the following morning, sabi ko talaga, magpa transfer sya ng hotel. Kahit budget hotel, okay lang. Then, bandang tanghali, tumawag ang receptionist kay hubby, beaking the news na nag positive sya and he needs to be transferred to a hotel that caters to guests with COVID. Yung receptionist sobrang lungkot yung pagkakasabi sa kanya na may covid sya pero si hubby parang nanalo sa pa raffle. Sabi pa nya, he’s ready to be moved asap.

I believe my hubby was saved by his guardian angel kasi he had no COVID symptoms whatsoever. He was the only one who tested positive amongst his co-workers, all of whom he stayed with the entire time he worked and traveled.

I won’t mention the hotel’s name. Pero I think some of my fellow Cebuanos already know which one.
