Terror filled the God of Love's family as they watched his body fall helplessly towards the ruined ground below. His extremely long blood red hair fluttered loosely around him. In his hand, was the flower which he had rushed to retrieve. None knew of its importance. However, they knew that their precious family member was in danger. Tears poured out of the black dragon's eyes as he struggled to escape his grandfather's shockingly tight embrace. Had the child paused to look up, he would have seen the horrified expression on the assassin's face. Although it was nothing compared to the one that would appear on the Count's face moments later.
"Cale!"
While the eldest mortal dragon prepared to catch the unconscious deity with magic, an identical red to the youth sped past him. Disguised reptilians widened in a mixture of bewilderment and amazement as they watched the reincarnated hunter jump off of the wall towards her helpless child. As she dove through the air, she could feel the wind guide her. Unfortunately, she was unable to hear the flustered voices of the elementals. Yet she still could tell they were there assisting her. When her child was within reach, she extended her hand out and grabbed onto his wrist. Pulling his head towards her heart in a protective manner, she twisted her body midair so she would be beneath him. At the same time, she activated the peculiar device that she had received from the patriarch of the Ione Clan.
Instantly, a dozen mana shields which were capable of blocking a single attack from the Hunter King's Successor enveloped them. Protecting them as they plummeted towards a rubble ridden battlefield. However, before they could crash, a riderless white wyvern covered in wounds shot through the sky. Catching the orb-like barrier with its arms and claws. A loud roar came as its wings flapped hard to counter the force they had been falling. Fresh blood dribbling from the cuts on its scaly limbs. Even though it was in pain, it did not give up. It would save the God of Love. With a burning fire of determination, the mutant successfully managed to lift and relocate the duo back onto the city wall. Carefully setting them down at the feet of the God of Healing.
With the wave of his hand, the mana barriers immediately dissipated. Then the crying deity knelt down next to the two reckless redheads. His lemon yellow gaze focused briefly on the flower in the youth's hand. It was a plant not of the mortal realm. Just like he had suspected. The Ruler of Dreams was desperately trying to communicate with the Supreme's Heir.
When he went to confiscate the bloom, an incredibly powerful divine energy surged out of it and blocked him. Proving the true might of a sealed God who was kin to the Supreme. Clicking his tongue, he then tried to touch the embodiment of Love. Again he was stopped by the divine energy of the ancient God. Realizing he was unable to intervene with only his own power, the former owner of the Vitality of the Heart instructed those who had speedily gathered around him.
"Take Amias to the Grand Temple. I'll meet you all there."
Nods confirmed that they understood their task. Skillfully, the eldest Dragon Lord prepared a teleportation circle. Except it shattered like delicate glass before it could be completed. As if an outside force had interfered with it. It was quite clear who had blocked it. Worried gazes focused on the mature deity whose cheeks were stained with fresh tears.
"Xara..."
Only the immortals recognized the name that was murmured. Regrettably, none of them could ask about their involvement before the God of Healing vanished from sight. In the end, the Crybaby decided to go to the one entity who could protect the youngest from Dreams. Life.
Fully aware that they could not leave their currently vulnerable family member outside, they relocated back to his room at the main estate. They intended to monitor him until he either woke up or the older deity returned. Especially since they had no clue what had happened to him. Nor did they know how long he'd be unconscious for this time. Thankfully, they managed to prevent the baby dragons from rampaging. However, they clung to their guardian's body as if he would disappear the moment they left his side.
