Dozens of curious gazes peeked out from behind the bushes at the unusual sight in the training grounds. Currently, their very person who insisted he wanted to live his life as a rich slacker was willingly sparring with the wanderer and the Black Hawk. At the exact same time! Utilizing only a sword and a dagger! His long blood red hair was pulled up into a high ponytail. Whirling around his body in such a graceful manner that it looked like a ribbon of fire or blood dancing with his every movement. Especially when he dodged the others' extremely quick attacks.
"Papa looks like a fire fairy."
Murmured the peach haired elf in awe. A bouquet of freshly picked pink tulips in her hands. Her siblings nodded in quiet agreement with her observation. After a few minutes, the youngest of the Blue Wolves queried in confusion.
"Wasn't he supposed to be relaxing today?"
"Mmm! I even heard Grandpa Ron tell Papa to rest earlier this morning!"
Replied the red kitten proudly. Crumbs on his lips as he successfully snuck yet another one of his brother's chocolate chip cookies. His blood sister shook her head in response to how he was using their stealth training to steal from their own family. If he was going to rob anyone, it should be the mean human servants who used to torment their unpredictable guardian.
"How long have they been fighting for?"
"Two hours, fourteen minutes and thirty-seven seconds."
Answered the chubby cheeked black dragon. His sapphires fixated solely on their father who used his wind ancient power to flip up and over an incoming slash. Memorizing and learning as much as he could from the deity's nimble reactions. In his hands was an active recording device which he intended to show off to his other siblings later.
"Wow."
"Right?! Papa's amazing!"
Beamed the older of the Holy Maiden twins. Next to her, the eldest of the mixed blooded dark elves was attempting to capture the God of Love's splendor in a drawing. Red vinca blooms now adorned her neatly braided updo thanks to Daeya's efforts.
"Shouldn't we stop them before he collapses?"
Instantly, the attention of the children moved to the younger of the reincarnated twins. Worry was visible on his face while he watched the adults spar. There was no doubt in his mind that the redhead was pushing himself too far. Yet he didn't show any signs of slowing down or even stopping. Was this really okay? Or would it be best for them to get one of their grandparents?
"Why would we stop Papa from playing with his friends?"
Countered the White Lion while brushing her long, mane-like hair.
"Because he's overexerting himself!"
Insisted the dusty blond boy. To his relief, the eldest of the Fog Cat duo spoke up in his defense.
"Dongsaeng's right, Riona. Two hours is far too long for Papa to be fighting this intensely."
Matching greens sparkled as they looked at her. Earnestly seeking her permission to go report their father's actions to the first grandparent that they found. Amused by her silver haired sisters' actions, On glanced back over at the God of Love while instructing.
"Go tell Grandpa Ron that Papa's out here. He will know best what to do."
"Yes, Unnie~"
Giggled the Moon God's twins prior to running off to complete their task. Wide reptilians stared up at her in obvious confusion.
"Wouldn't alerting him via magic be faster?"
Petting his raven locks, the Fog Cat reminded her cute baby brother.
