Chapter 370

"Hey Killy, do you know where Boxy Boo went, you and him were both sent down there" Catnap spoke as Killy Willy looked everywhere except at the cat in front of him.

"Dogday please talk to us... this isn't like you, you woke up three times already from bad dreams..." Craftycorn spoke softly as the sunny puppy was shaking. "You got to open up to us Dogday, please we want to help you as much as we can, with you being quiet like this, it's impossible for us to help if we don't know what's wrong" Bobby Bearhug said as Bitty Kitty and Sharp Charm were also standing in the room near Frowny Fox. Frowny Fox has Shade asleep in his arms but Gloom and Small Frown were both awake and running around his hind paws. "Settle down you two" he spoke softly to try and keep the attention away from himself. "Dogday please speak to us, we know you're our leader, but you really don't have to do this all alone, we're here for you.. please let us help you" Bobby spoke softly as Hoppy and Kickin sat next to Dogday on his bed. Dogday shook his head, his big floppy ears smacking him across the face causing him to close his eyes. "Please dad... we want to help" Sharp Charm said in a low voice, but loud enough so everyone could hear. "We want to help you like you've helped all of us.. you could write it down" Bitty Kitty suggested as she held out a small notepad and pencil towards Dogday. Dogday pushed the notepad and pencil away with a frown and a head shake before he smiles at everyone and coughs. "Are you okay?" asked Craftycorn and Dogday smiles towards her nodding his head slowly. "That didn't sound like a normal cough though... it was a very dry wheezing cough" Bubba said with a hint of worry in his voice. Dogday coughs again and shakes his head with a smile trying to wave off their concerns. "Dogday please let us know what's wrong... this is worrisome" said Bobby as Hoppy and Kickin look at their leader with pleading eyes. Dogday nods and grabs the notepad and pencil before writing:

Death... pain... Catnap?

As he shown the others they all were confused. "You remember your death.. is that affecting your sleep?" asked Hoppy with concern, Dogday nods at them. "And you're in pain because of your throat... I'm not sure why though" Kickin mumbles getting another nod from Dogday. "You're also asking where Catnap is now?" asked Bobby as Dogday nods again. "You spoke before... you think you can again?" asked Bobby. Dogday coughs again and shakes his head. "That's fine, maybe using your voice caused you pain?" asked Hoppy and Dogday nodded. "Sounds plausible enough" said Bubba as he looked towards Dogday "do you think that you'll be able to get your voice fully back?" asked Bubba in a bit of a confused tone. Dogday just shrugs.
