"... NAKAKAINIS KAYA KAUSAP UNG MGA TAO SA MED BUILDING. PURO ENGLISH TAPOS ANG YAYABANG PA NILA PORKE MAHIHIRAP MGA PINAGAARALAN NILA. ANG SUSUNGET PA NG IBA!"

I overheard this while sitting in the Rosarium. It is so annoying hearing generalizations/ignorant claims like this from people from other programs.

First of all, not everyone in the med building speaks english. But yes, there are a lot of english speakers. Why? Rich kids ba? Conyo? Probably. In some cases, that is. Though there are a lot of students who grew up in the United States or some other country and just came here to study. That's me in my case. Do you think I like the fact that I have such a hard time communicating with other people? Do you think I fucking enjoy seeing people not talking to me because they don't like their own english? Well,

********.

Second, masusunget? You try not sleeping the whole night because you have three major quizzes to study for. Try getting yelled at by your own clinical instructor while you lack sleep and are drained. You try waking up so damn early because you have to commute far and your duty's in the early morning. You try giving the best and efficient patient care while under pressure. Sorry kung masusunget talaga ung iba samin minsan, but please understand what the hell we're going through first.

Third, mayayabang? Maybe may maipagmamayabang kasi? Lol. I have never really noticed this around the building but there probably are people like this. NOT EVERYONE THOUGH. Most work in silence and let success be their noise. But when you are studying something so many people have given up on, wouldn't you be proud as well?

I hate hearing shit like "ay petiks lang sa commerce", "ang bobo ng mga taga cthm", "ew hindi naliligo ang mga eng", etc... Damn son, we are all going through hell in order to get a degree, so why hate? Its so fucking stupid. You won't get smarter, prettier or grow some fucking abs if you keep continuing to bash programs like this. In the end we're all Thomasians. One community. One heart. One soul. One univeristy. Divided we will not stand.
