an unexpected Valentine

imagine this scenario. You're in dangwa buying flowers with your friends everything's going great and your friend just bought the perfect bouquet for her mom and lola and you've got your eye on a bouquet yourself, it's way in your budget so you still have money to go buy other stuff for yourself. But then you reach in your bag and realize one of the worst things that could happen when you're a college student: WALA SI WALLET. huhu pambili ng flowers, pamasahe, pictures ng friends (and ni crush :)) ) all gone in an instant. You get nervous and tense and kabado mong sinabi sa friend mo: girl nawawala wallet ko. Lahat sila tumingin sayo ng shocked at naawa kaya binayad ni friend yung bouquet mo.

Anong mafefeel mo? Valentines na valentines si wallet na nga lang nasayo kinuha pa siya. frown emoticon meron pang 600 pesos inside. Nung time na yun wala akong ibang maisip kundi yung mom ko na siyang bibigyan ko nung flowers dahil nagaway kami, and yung galit niya na nawala ko pa wallet ko. Nireready ko na sarili ko for the sermon of a lifetime nang bumalik kami ng beato, kung saan kami umuupo before going to dangwa, I foouuund nothing. Nagask kami sa guard about it and hoped na nasa lost and found siya or tinago nila somewhere. Unfortunately wala daw. Ang mas masaklap pa. Nadiscourage ako kasi most likely baka daw may kumuha na nun <\\3

Kita na ng friends ko yung mukha ko na mejo kabado kaya kinomfort nalang nila ako. Niready ko narin speech ko na titled ""sorry mom i lost my wallet buying you these flowers happy vday though"" sabay sumigaw yung friend ko. Nagulat ako na paulit ulit lang siyang nagsasabi ng: ayun ayun! I thought it was my wallet but as it turns out yung 2 people pala yun na nasa tabi namin nung nawala wallet ko. Mejo natuwa na ko but then I didn't gt my hopes up kasi mahirap umasa. (Boom hugot) ng nilabas niya yung wallet ko sobrang tuwang tuwa ako na hinug ko siya and thankyou ako ng thankyou. Actually beki siya and kasama niya yung friend niyang girl when they found my wallet. He even reassured me na walang bawas yung money. And that they were waiting for the owner to come back for it.

So basically this is just a story of a girl who lost her wallet na ginawang big deal, pero my point is this: it was Valentine's day and sometimes we get caught up by the hype of getting roses from admirers or our significant others thinking that it's the only definition of love, but I realized that day that people do these little things that show that they care and that's more than enough that they care about YOU, regardless or not kung close kayo. Kaya sa mga walang ka forever jan. Wag na malunkot. Wala man "forever" may "will always be" naman. as in there will always be good people that will help you out maging sino ka man. There will always be kindness in the most unexpected places. And there will always be someone who cares about you. smile emoticon
